Now in her 40s, Sal still doesn’t know what she wants to do when she grows up.
Prior to joining her husband Trevor in his business in 2015, she had been working as an assessor and trainer for ten years, delivering Apprenticeships, NVQs and route to employment courses. Before this she had, in no particular order, worked variously as a debt collector, barista, legal secretary, cleaner, stock controller and customer service representative, and had gained qualifications in HR, Management, Business Admin and Customer Service.
These experiences have given Sal a breadth of experience as an employee and manager. Her main focus in the business is direction and strategy, which feeds naturally into marketing, sales and business development. She also takes care of Human Resources and the financial side of things.
Sal likes to spend her spare time getting lots of exercise in the fresh air and cooking up healthy meals. She reads about a book a week and spends hours on jigsaws.
